made a cozy little music player

so i saw this music player by @Nashallery and it was so pretty i just HAD to make my own version. started cozy-music-player today. its a desktop music player built in lua and the whole vibe is, well, cozy. warm and chill and nice to just have open while youre working

being a musician made this one extra fun because i actually care a lot about how music software feels to use. like the little details, how the now-playing looks, how smooth the transitions are, how it handles your library. i wanted something that felt like a warm corner instead of a spreadsheet with play buttons. spent way too long on tiny animations that literally nobody but me will notice lol

this is the kind of project i love, small enough to actually finish, personal enough that i care, and it scratches both the music itch and the code itch at the same time. also shoutout to nashallery, building your own version of something you admire is such a good way to learn. you see all the little decisions the original made once you try to recreate them yourself
