i also write poetry, weirdly
Date : ~2024 (undated really, just been a thing lately)
not everything i make is a game or a tool or a server. sometimes its just words. ive been writing poetry for a while and i dont really talk about it much because it feels more private than code, but its part of me so it belongs here too
its funny, poetry and programming pull from the same place in my brain. both are about taking something messy and abstract in your head and giving it structure until it actually communicates. a poem has rhythm and constraints and this satisfying click when the last line lands, same as when a function finally does exactly what you meant. i think being a musician feeds into it too, everything i do keeps coming back to rhythm and timing and feel
anyway i dont have a "poetry repo" to link or anything, its just notebooks and notes app chaos. but if you only ever see me as the löve-and-lua guy youre missing half of it. i read a lot too, mostly self help books lately, and i travel when i can. the code is loud but the quiet stuff matters just as much
